Position Summary

Receives, stages and processes vendor truck deliveries and assists with furniture deliveries and installations in customer facilities. Accountable for noting shortages and damages and safe and damage-free installations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Responsible for activities associated with the receipt of all shipments including counts,
overages/shortages and freight damages.

  • Responsible for managing accurate product pulls for all shipments out of the warehouse for delivery, outbound freight.
  • Ensures that product is handled with care and that customer’s property is protected and undamaged.
  • Ensures that all departmental paperwork is processed in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for returned goods processing.
  • Responsible for daily warehouse housekeeping activities; sweeping, trash removal and organization of the space.
  • Able to successfully unload, stage, de-trash product, assemble and place product per approved plan without damage to product or customer work site.
  • Able to clean installation site without damage to product or site.
  • Willingly follows all instructions given by designated crew leader.
  • Responsible for courteous and professional attitude during installations with both internal and external customers.
  • Responsible for equipment and tools issued by ICS.
  • Photograph and report any damage to product and or the facility to the Crew Leader.
  • Maintains personal hygiene, dress code and adheres to all company policies and procedures.
  • Follow all safety procedures.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Performing other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common
    fractions and decimals.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral
    instructions. Ability to handle problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customer.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.

Position Summary

Responsible for net revenue growth towards the sales of products and services to all assigned accounts including: the generation of new business through effective networking techniques; existing client retention, client management strategy and oversight; and overall client relationships. To sell integrated workspace solutions including architectural products, furnishings and technology products that enable clients to achieve their desired business results.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Manage existing client relationships and look for opportunities to increase the company’s share of wallet by establishing and monitoring ongoing service and renewal approaches.
  • Uncovering customer needs and translating those needs into sales of products and services by Interior Contract Services.
  • Manage the quote process through qualification of accounts and aligning Company solutions including products, services and professional capabilities.
  • Works consistently with team members including leadership, design, sales administration and operations to completely satisfy customer needs.
  • Become a workspace subject matter expert.
  • Be knowledgeable on the products and services of many vendors, including but not limited to Teknion.
  • Utilize CRM software and Operating System to manage opportunities, plan sales and projections.
  • Conduct campaigns to improve client relationships through seminars, roundtables and other promotional and educational programs.
  • To provide accurate sales forecast.
  • Maintain customer profile database.
  • Performing other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing and/or 3 to 5 years proven business-to-business sales
    experience with complex offerings preferred.
  • Results and performance driven with a proven history of team success.
  • Requires a minimum of one year of training/education for a candidate with no prior office furniture
    industry experience.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to relate to many social
    styles and adapt readily in multiple work environments.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM platform.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills; ability to handle complex multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to listen and respond to customer needs.
  • Ability and willingness to get involved in the community in leadership positions a plus.
  • Ability and willingness to entertain clients before or after business hours.
